Kayla Bouazouni is a recent graduate of the dual degree program between Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration. Her academic focus centered on Cultural & Urban Policy and Cultural Management.

Originally from Greater Paris, Kayla grew up immersed in visual and performing arts, which shaped her commitment to the cultural and creative industries. She is particularly interested in cultural programming and how crossing fields, like combining music with painting, or dance with film, can create accessible entry points to contemporary art. Her work centers on helping younger audiences feel more comfortable engaging with visual arts, performance, theatre, music, and cinema.

She has worked across the US, Europe, and Asia, with experience at institutions including the Lincoln Center, David Zwirner, Hauser & Wirth, and the Ford Foundation. Most recently, she contributed to cultural policy projects with the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and interned as an Artist Liaison at Gagosian.

Kayla holds a BA in Performing and Media Arts from Cornell University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude for her honors thesis Growing Pains and was commissioned to paint a mural in the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts.

She loves plays and enjoys drawing and photography in her free time. She now lives in Paris and returns to New York regularly.
